To manage all commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring effective cost control, accurate measurement, valuation of works, preparation of claims, and administration of contracts to maximize project profitability while minimizing commercial risks. Key Responsibilities • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications • Monitor project costs and ensure expenditure remains within approved budgets • Prepare monthly valuations, progress claims, and payment applications • Review subcontractor quotations, negotiate rates, and prepare subcontract agreements • Evaluate and certify subcontractor interim payments and final accounts • Track variations, prepare variation orders, and assess their commercial impact • Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions • Prepare and negotiate claims, extensions of time, and final account settlements • Analyze project financial performance and provide regular cost reports to management • Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation measures • Liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients on commercial matters • Maintain proper documentation of contracts, correspondence, claims, and project records • Support tendering activities, including pricing, quantity take-offs, and commercial evaluations • Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry best practices Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry • Experience in building, infrastructure, and civil engineering projects is preferred • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, commercial administration, and cost control practices • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is highly desirable • Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying/cost management software Show more Show less
