Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista for Specialty Tea and Coffee role based in Shuwaikh. The barista will prepare and serve a variety of specialty teas and coffees, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene. Daily responsibilities include operating coffee and tea brewing equipment, handling food preparation for accompanying items, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation. The role involves welcoming customers, taking orders, answering product questions, and providing courteous, efficient service. The barista will also manage inventory for tea, coffee, and related supplies, follow safety and food-handling procedures, and support opening and closing duties as needed. Qualifications • Strong barista skills with experience in specialty tea and coffee preparation, brewing methods, and basic food preparation. • Excellent customer service abilities with strong interpersonal skills to create a welcoming and respectful guest experience. • Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with customers and team members in a multicultural environment. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, on-site setting, including standing for extended periods and handling peak service times. • Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and cash-handling procedures; prior experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality settings is an advantage. • Willingness to learn about specialty tea and coffee products, follow company recipes and guidelines, and support team collaboration. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; fluency in English required, with Arabic language skills considered a plus.
