Senior Interior Designer

About the Role DONE Interior Factory is looking for an exceptionally talented Senior Interior Designer to join our Design Team in Kuwait and lead high-end and luxury interior projects. We are not simply looking for years of experience. We are looking for exceptional design talent: a distinctive design identity, a sophisticated aesthetic sense, strong attention to detail, and proven experience delivering high-end projects from concept through execution. As part of an integrated design and manufacturing company, you will see your designs come to life through our own production facility, working closely with production, procurement, and site teams. Key Responsibilities • Lead interior projects from concept development through final execution. • Create sophisticated design concepts, mood boards, space plans, material palettes, and client presentations. • Develop and review detailed design drawings and execution details. • Design and select custom furniture, joinery, lighting, finishes, and FF&E. • Translate creative concepts into technically achievable solutions. • Present design concepts professionally and confidently to clients. • Coordinate with Projects, Production, Procurement, and site teams. • Review shop drawings, samples, and material submissions. • Conduct site visits and ensure execution reflects the approved design vision. • Solve design and technical challenges without compromising the overall aesthetic. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field. • 7+ years of professional interior design experience. • Proven experience in high-end residential, luxury villas, hospitality, or premium interior projects. • Exceptional design sense with strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and spatial composition. • Strong technical understanding of joinery, custom-made furniture, detailing, and project execution. • Proficiency in professional design and visualization software. • Strong client presentation and communication skills. • Experience taking projects from Concept → Design Development → Technical Details → Execution. Portfolio: The Most Important Requirement Your portfolio is the primary criterion for shortlisting. We are particularly interested in completed, executed projects, not only renders or conceptual work. When applying, please upload a single PDF that includes your CV and portfolio, highlighting your 3 best completed projects, or include a link to your online portfolio in your CV. We value quality, creativity, and design maturity over the number of projects. • Applications without a portfolio will not be considered. Show more Show less
