Construction Manager – Civil (132 kV Substation)

Antal International is seeking an experienced Construction Manager – Civil for a major substation project in Abu Dhabi. The Incumbent will lead and oversee civil construction activities, ensuring project delivery in line with approved schedules, budgets, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations. Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Industry: Construction / Power & Energy Infrastructure Key Responsibilities • Oversee civil construction activities from mobilization to project handover. • Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and subcontractors. • Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, consultants, and authorities. • Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and mitigate project risks. • Ensure timely project completion in line with contractual requirements. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. • 12–15 years of construction management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. • Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects; substation or power infrastructure experience is highly desirable. • Strong knowledge of project planning, cost control, contract administration, and UAE construction regulations. • Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
