A Snapshot of Your Day This position is created to support the AGORA ERP implementation within Gas Services Distributed in the United Arab Emirates, with a strategic plan to transition the resource into a permanent Commercial Project Manager (CPM) vacancy to retain critical system and business knowledge. Operating within the SE FIN GS ME CPM-D organization, the role initially will focus on ERP system deployment then will transition to commercial execution in all service lines; long-term service contracts, M&U, Repairs, complex Spare Parts deliveries, Field Services. To address this dual-phase objective, the role focuses on ERP implementation and system optimization, comprehensive financial project management, and risk, contract, and stakeholder management. These core areas ensure a seamless transition from system setup to high-performing project execution. Given the focus on ERP implementation and project execution, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or business administration, proven experience as a Commercial Project Manager for complex service projects, and deep proficiency in SAP/ERP systems. Professional certification CPM-C category is highly desirable to support the Gas Services business. How You’ll Make An Impact • Manage and optimize project financial KPIs including revenue, cost, gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments. Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG), non-conformance costs (NCC), transfer pricing, tax, and export control regulations. • Actively performs asset management, initiates invoicing according to project progress and contractual terms. Ensure payment is received on time and allocated properly. Perform project forecasting, local and WTW reporting, involve offshore CPM organization. • Manage project guarantees, bonds and project insurance as well as foreign currency risks in alignment with hedging guidelines. • Act as a key user and data steward to support the smooth and successful implementation of ERP/SAP (S4EUnify / AGORA) within the Commercial Project Management domain. Retain and document system knowledge gained during ERP implementation to train and support the wider CPM organization. • Ensure accurate recording and migration of commercial project data into the new ERP system. • Collaborate with the Project Manager to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and opportunities. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, and offshore teams, to ensure commercial alignment. What You Bring • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related qualification. Certified CPM for 'C' Category projects • Proven experience as a Commercial Project Manager handling long-term or complex 'C' category projects, preferably in the service/LTSA sector • Experience with ERP/SAP implementations in a project business environment • Strong background in financial reporting guidelines (FRG) and IFRS, project forecasting, budgeting and reporting, asset and cash flow management, as well as transfer pricing and tax compliance. • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), experience in data stewardship and system implementation, as well as expertise in SAP/ERP implementation. • Expertise in contract and claim management, project risk and opportunity management, as well as foreign currency hedging and risk mitigation. • Strong analytical and numerical skills, effective stakeholder management and communication abilities, as well as problem-solving skills and adaptability.
