As a Human Resources & Learning and Development Coordinator, you’re not just providing support to HR department managers – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Responsibilities Here's what you'll do during a typical day: • HR Support: Respond to Team Member, manager and candidate inquiries and provide accurate information. • HR Administration: Maintain personnel files, HR records and documentation. • Payroll Support: Process payroll and coordinate with centralized payroll teams, managers and Team Members. • Employee Relations: Escalate complex employee relations matters to the HR Manager and follow up as required. • HR Communications: Prepare and distribute HR memos, flyers and communications. • HR Initiatives: Support the planning and coordination of HR programs and initiatives. • Recruitment Support: Assist with new hire and termination documentation and employee files. • Project Support: Coordinate meetings, prepare materials and support HR projects and follow-up. • Training coordination: Coordinate training schedules, invitations, attendance and logistics. • Training records: Maintain accurate training records, trackers and completion reports. • Compliance training: Follow up on mandatory and compliance training completion. • Induction support: Support new Team Member induction and onboarding activities. • Training Champions: Support Departmental Training Champions with coordination and follow-up. • Training materials: Prepare training materials and attendance records. • L&D reporting: Assist with training feedback, reports and general L&D administration. • L&D administration: Provide administrative support for hotel learning activities.
