Job Description • Key Responsibilities • Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: • Developing design plans in response to technical problems posed by a project’s scope. • Providing advice on planning, design and implementation of urban design work· Reviewing and revising master plans and design guidelines· Ensuring key deadlines are met and the project stays on schedule, • Handling the presentation and report development. • Playing a key role in client presentations, client management and client satisfaction. • Performing advanced professional work related to variety of planning assignments • Handling complex planning studies, development applications and reviews consultant proposals • Reviewing project budgets, administers bidding process, verifies contract expenditures and compliance • Conducting research and preparing statistical reports on land use. • Developing transportation plans, studies and analyses on regional basis • Performing field inspections to gather data relevant to the development review process and/or to verify that development projects comply with approved plans • Scheduling and conducting meetings with advisory boards and elected officials • Skill Set • Degree in Urban Design, Landscape Design or related field • Minimum of 15 years experience in urban design on major infrastructure or rail construction projects • Ability to perform difficult and complex urban design activities • • Excellent design, visualization, and graphic skills • Excellent coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced • Excellent English written and oral communication skills • undefined • Desirable • Rail, metro or related project experience • undefined • Experience working on projects located in the Middle East • Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
