Chef De Partie

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen, with strong food preparation, presentation and organisational skills. You will be responsible for managing your section, maintaining consistent food quality and ensuring excellent hygiene standards. Role Description The Chef De Partie will work full time on-site at Mezzanine Bar & Kitchen in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, preparing and cooking dishes to established standards, and ensuring consistent presentation and quality. Daily tasks include coordinating mise en place, monitoring stock levels, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting smooth service during busy periods. The Chef De Partie will collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef on menu execution, assist in training junior team members, and help implement improvements in kitchen efficiency and workflow. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or equivalent role in a high-quality restaurant. • Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating, with attention to detail and consistency. • Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen sanitation practices. • Ability to organize and manage a kitchen section, including mise en place, stock rotation, and waste control. • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to support and guide junior kitchen staff. • Capability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times while maintaining high standards. • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required in a busy hospitality environment. • Culinary qualification or formal training from a recognized institution is preferred. • Experience in Dubai or international settings and familiarity with diverse cuisines is an advantage. • Commitment to continuous learning, creativity, and contributing to menu development and innovation.
