Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Receptionist role based in Abu Dhabi. The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient front desk operation. Daily tasks include answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, handling reservations, and coordinating with housekeeping and other departments. The role also involves processing payments, maintaining accurate records, and providing clear information about hotel services and local attractions. The Receptionist is expected to deliver professional, courteous, and timely customer service to enhance the guest experience. Qualifications • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills for handling calls, guest inquiries, reservations, and other front-desk interactions. • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to assist guests, respond to requests, handle complaints, and resolve issues professionally. • Good clerical and administrative skills, including record-keeping, data entry, filing, and general front-office support. • Basic computer literacy and the ability to use Microsoft Office and other common computer applications. • Experience with hotel PMS/front-office software is an advantage. • Good organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail. • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic or additional languages will be an advantage. • Previous experience in hospitality, hotel reception, customer service, or front-desk operations is preferred but not mandatory. • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays. • Must maintain a neat, professional appearance and positive attitude while on duty. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain professionalism when dealing with guests and colleagues.
