About ZAD ZAD is the brainchild of a group of young, passionate Kuwaiti financial professionals driven by a vision of fostering a culture of investment in Kuwait. And for this team, Zad began as a means to answer a need in the market: the need to make investment an accessible concept and viable choice for a broader audience About the Role Finance's primary point of contact facing the Operations team — every operations-related finance task routes through this role, not only client transfers. Reviews the transfer file Operations shares and executes the transfer, reviewed by the Senior Finance Officer before the Manager/Controller — Kuwait's final sign-off, and reconciles the firm's external trading-platform and custodian account balances against their invoices. Client-based reconciliation itself stays with Operations throughout — Finance reviews and executes, it does not perform that reconciliation. Key Responsibilities • Reviewing the transfer file shared by Operations for completeness before executing the transfer. • Primary point of contact for the Operations team on all operations-related finance matters. • Maintaining the daily transfer log and supporting documentation for each batch. • First point of contact for transfer-status queries from Operations and clients. • Escalating unusual or high-value transfers for Senior Finance Officer review ahead of Manager/Controller sign-off. • Reconciling external trading-platform and custodian account balances against their invoices. • Cross training as backup for the Bookkeeper/Accountant on transfer-related tasks. • Scope boundary: does not perform client-based reconciliation, which stays with Operations — every other Finance-side operations matter routes through this role. What Success Looks Like • 100% of client transfers processed within the agreed same-day/next-day turnaround. • Zero transfer errors or delays attributable to preparation, tracked monthly. • Transfer log complete and audit-ready at all times. Requirements Must have • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field. • Two or more years in finance operations, payments, settlements or back office processing. • Experience executing payment or transfer batches under a maker-checker control. • Reconciliation experience against third party statements or invoices. • High accuracy under time pressure and a same-day turnaround culture. • Comfortable as the day to day interface between two departments. • Working Excel. • Fluent in English and Arabic. Preferable • Brokerage, custodian or trading platform settlement experience. • Experience maintaining an auditable transfer log. • Exposure to client money or client account handling rules. • Microsoft Dynamics or comparable ERP experience.
