Role Summary: As a Transformational Product Manager, you are responsible for driving the development, enhancement, and optimisation of digital products and platforms. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, development teams, and end-users, the Product Owner ensures that digital solutions deliver maximum value aligned with organisational goals. The role involves delivering innovative solutions that enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and align with the organisation's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Strategy and Vision - Define and articulate the product vision, roadmap, and goals for retail solutions. - Translate business objectives into product strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities. - Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. 2. Backlog Management - Create, prioritise, and maintain the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility. - Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity for development teams. - Act as the primary point of contact for resolving product-related questions and decisions. 3. Customer Experience - Work closely with UX/UI designers to create customer-centric solutions that improve shopping experiences. - Analyse customer feedback, market research, and user behaviour to inform product decisions. 4. Development and Delivery - Partner with development teams to ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements. - Validate delivered features to ensure they meet business and technical requirements. 5. Performance Measurement - Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of retail products. - Use data analytics tools to generate insights and make data-driven decisions. - Identify areas for continuous improvement based on performance metrics. People Management: The incumbent holds no direct supervisory responsibilities but is expected to engage effectively within their function and collaboratively across cross-functional teams. This role contributes meaningfully, whether through operational contributions and/or by offering specialized expertise, guidance, and support, to ensure alignment with either functional and/or strategic organizational goals and objectives. Functional / Technical Competencies: - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello). - Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills. - Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau). - Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and digital trends. - Ability to balance technical constraints with business needs. - Strong understanding of retail operations, customer journeys, and omnichannel strategies.
