Function Description At iPS Powerful People, we're proactively building a pool of skilled Welders for upcoming projects across various industries and locations. This is not for a specific vacancy, but a campaign to connect with qualified professionals who are available to mobilize when suitable opportunities arise. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication activities according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. You will work as part of a professional team, contributing to the successful delivery of construction, maintenance, repair, and installation projects. Key Responsibilities Include • Performing welding activities using approved welding procedures and techniques • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions • Preparing materials, equipment, and work areas before welding operations • Inspecting welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements • Carrying out repair and maintenance welding when required • Following HSE procedures and participating in toolbox talks and safety meetings • Maintaining welding equipment and ensuring proper use of tools and materials • Collaborating with supervisors, inspectors, and team members to achieve project goals Requirements Requirements: • Proven experience as a Welder in offshore, shipyard, construction, energy, or industrial environments • Valid welding certifications (e.g., MIG, MAG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, or equivalent) • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and workmanship • Experience working in multicultural and international environments is an advantage • Valid offshore certificates and medical certificate • Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team • Flexibility and willingness to work on rotational assignments and international projects If this isn’t the Welder opportunity you’re looking for, please take a look at our other vacancies below: https://ipspowerfulpeople.com/vacancies/ Show more Show less
