Technical Lead - Network & Security

About the Role Specialized Enterprise Systems (SES) is hiring a Technical Lead - Network & Security at a client site in Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for the operational management, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of the data center network and cybersecurity infrastructure, leading network and security operations teams to ensure high availability, performance, resilience, and protection of critical data center services. Key Responsibilities • Lead the day-to-day operation and maintenance of data center network and security infrastructure, ensuring maximum availability and performance • Manage and supervise network and security engineers responsible for LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, data center fabric, wireless, and internet connectivity services • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of firewalls, IDS/IPS, web application firewalls (WAF), VPNs, network access control (NAC), and security monitoring platforms • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for network outages, security incidents, and critical infrastructure issues • Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, latency, availability, and security events to ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for network and security infrastructure • Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews for network and cybersecurity events Requirements • 15+ years of experience in data center network and security operations • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field • Saudi nationals only • Willing to relocate to the client site in Saudi Arabia within 2 months • Office hours with on-call escalation support Skills and Technologies • Data Center Network Operations • Enterprise Network Architecture • Cybersecurity Operations & Governance • Firewall & Security Infrastructure Management • Security Incident Response & Threat Management • LAN/WAN/SD-WAN Technologies • Routing, Switching & Data Center Fabric Networks • SIEM, SOC & Security Monitoring • Vulnerability & Patch Management • Network Performance & Capacity Planning Preferred Certifications CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE or Fortinet NSE, CISSP or CISM, ITIL 4 Show more Show less
