Architect

About the Role Looking for an experienced Architect to join its project team and support the design coordination and execution of tower and high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with a building contractor / main contractor and should be comfortable coordinating architectural requirements between consultants, engineers, subcontractors and site teams. Key Responsibilities • Review and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications and construction documents for tower/high-rise projects. • Coordinate architectural works between consultants, contractors, subcontractors and site teams. • Review drawings and ensure that construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved architectural designs and specifications. • Prepare, review and coordinate shop drawings, detailed drawings and construction drawings. • Coordinate architectural requirements with structural, MEP and other disciplines. • Review materials, finishes and samples to ensure compliance with approved specifications. • Conduct regular site inspections and monitor architectural works for quality and compliance. • Identify design discrepancies, clashes and technical issues and coordinate with the relevant teams for resolution. • Review and respond to RFIs, technical queries and drawing-related issues. • Coordinate with consultants regarding design changes, approvals and site requirements. • Monitor architectural works against project schedules and ensure timely completion. • Support the project team in resolving architectural and construction-related issues. • Review subcontractor submissions and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications. • Maintain proper documentation of drawings, approvals, revisions and site instructions. • Ensure that architectural works comply with applicable building codes, project specifications and quality standards. Requirements • 5–7 years of relevant architectural experience. • B.Tech / Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is mandatory. • Strong experience with tower, high-rise or large-scale building projects. • Experience working with a building contractor / main contractor is strongly preferred. • Good understanding of architectural construction, detailing and site execution. • Experience coordinating with consultants, structural and MEP teams. • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, shop drawings, material specifications and architectural finishes. • Good understanding of construction processes and site coordination. • Ability to identify and resolve architectural/design issues during project execution. • Good communication and coordination skills. • BIM experience is not mandatory, although exposure to BIM/Revit would be an advantage. Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in high-rise residential towers, commercial towers, mixed-use developments, hotels or large building projects working for a main contractor/building contractor will be preferred.
