Role Description The DM approved Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The architect will prepare and review architectural drawings and documentation in line with Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations and other relevant local authority requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with engineering teams and contractors, developing design concepts, overseeing revisions, and ensuring that all project submissions meet code and compliance standards. The role involves regular site visits to monitor work progress, address technical queries, and support the resolution of design-related issues. The architect will also participate in client meetings, provide technical input, and help ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and quality benchmarks. Qualifications • Proven experience as an architect, with valid DM approval/registration and strong knowledge of Dubai building codes and local authority processes. • Proficiency in architectural design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and ability to produce clear, detailed drawings and 3D models. • Experience in coordinating with structural, MEP, and interior design teams, and managing multi-disciplinary project documentation. • Strong skills in project coordination, time management, and handling multiple projects in a contracting or maintenance environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies. • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; professional certification or membership in relevant architectural bodies is an advantage. • Familiarity with UAE construction standards, permitting procedures, and safety regulations; previous experience in Dubai is strongly preferred. • Ability to work on-site full time, demonstrate attention to detail, and uphold high standards of quality and professional ethics.
