Rig Mechanic

Job description: Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: • Assisting Chief Mechanic / Mechanic to run the rig mechanical preventive maintenance on a regular basis. • Assist Chief Mechanic/Mechanic with Rig and Camp mechanical maintenance requirements. • Carry out duties assigned by Ch. Mech. / Mechanic. • Monitor appropriate functioning of rig and camp mechanical equipment while working on rig. • Carry out duties assigned by Tool Pusher/Night Tool Pusher. • Stand in for Mechanic during his absence. • Execute duties as Rig / Camp Fire Team member as instructed by Tool Pusher or Chief Mechanic.
