Senior Manager - Production & Technical Integration

Job Summary: Manage the integration of technical systems, site infrastructure, and production requirements across ERC Events & Entertainment assets, including venues and stages. Coordinate technical requirements, interfaces, design reviews, testing, commissioning, and readiness activities covering audio, lighting, video, broadcast, rigging, show communications, and technical infrastructure. Ensure technical deliverables, documentation, and integration activities align with ERC's Master Plan, approved technical standards, operational requirements, and event delivery milestones. Responsibilities: Technical Strategy & Planning • Manage the implementation of technical planning requirements across Events & Entertainment venues and stages in alignment with approved technical strategies and delivery objectives. • Manage the development and coordination of technical packages covering audio, lighting, video, broadcast, rigging, show communications, and technical infrastructure requirements. • Oversee the preparation and integration of staging drawings, lighting plots, sound plans, rigging schematics, and related technical documentation to support delivery activities. • Ensure technical planning deliverables are coordinated, complete, and aligned with creative, operational, and venue requirements. • Monitor technical planning risks, constraints, and dependencies and recommend mitigation actions to support delivery milestones. Technical Design & Integration • Manage the integration of audio, lighting, video, broadcast, rigging, show communications, and technical infrastructure requirements across Events & Entertainment venues and stages. • Manage technical design reviews to ensure technical packages are coordinated, complete, and aligned with approved requirements. • Oversee the management of technical interfaces, dependencies, and design coordination activities across multiple stakeholders and delivery partners. • Oversee the resolution of technical integration issues, clashes, and design-related constraints affecting delivery and operational readiness. • Ensure approved technical changes are assessed, documented, communicated, and incorporated into relevant technical packages and plans. Master Plan & Venue Integration • Manage the integration of technical requirements into venue planning activities and relevant Master Plan deliverables. • Oversee the review of venue capacities, infrastructure availability, utility requirements, and technical constraints to support technical delivery planning. • Manage the assessment and resolution of venue-related technical constraints, interface issues, and infrastructure dependencies. • Ensure venue and technical information remains accurate, coordinated, and available to support planning, testing, commissioning, and readiness activities. • Monitor the impact of venue changes, infrastructure developments, and planning updates on technical delivery requirements and readiness milestones. Technical Standards, Quality & Readiness • Manage technical testing, commissioning, and readiness activities to verify compliance with approved technical requirements, specifications, and performance criteria. • Oversee technical inspections, acceptance reviews, system validation activities, and readiness assessments across assigned venues and stages. • Ensure approved technical standards, quality requirements, and safety-by-design principles are applied throughout technical integration and delivery activities. • Coordinate the resolution of technical defects, quality findings, commissioning issues, and readiness gaps to support operational acceptance and event delivery. • Monitor technical readiness status, quality performance, and commissioning outcomes and report significant issues requiring management attention. Technical Coordination & Reporting • Manage engagement with internal departments, consultants, contractors, operators, and production teams to support technical integration and readiness objectives. • Oversee technical deliverables, interfaces, risks, issues, and mitigation actions across assigned Events & Entertainment assets. • Lead technical coordination activities to ensure timely resolution of technical issues affecting planning, design integration, testing, commissioning, and readiness. • Prepare and present technical integration, readiness, risk, and progress reports to support management review and decision-making. • Manage post-event and post-commissioning reviews to identify lessons learned and recommend improvements to technical integration, readiness, and delivery practices. Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Event Management and Organization, Media Production, Entertainment Management, or a related field. • Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred. Professional Certifications Preferred: • PMP, CTS, or other recognized certifications in project management, technical production, event management, or a related discipline are preferred. Experience: • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience for a bachelor’s degree, including supervisory or managerial experience. Nature of Experience: • Extensive experience in technical integration and delivery for large-scale events, venues, stages, exhibitions, or entertainment productions. • Strong experience integrating audio, lighting, video, broadcast, rigging, show communications, and technical infrastructure requirements. • Proven experience managing technical design reviews, technical documentation, and multidisciplinary interfaces. • Experience coordinating technical requirements across venue infrastructure, site systems, contractors, and operational stakeholders. • Proven experience leading technical testing, commissioning, acceptance, and operational readiness activities.
