Senior Civil Structural Engineer

Job Description SKILLS Shall possess strong analytical base and structural analysis & design knowledge. Advanced proficiency in ETABS, SAFE. Knowledge of STAAD and other structural software will be an added advantage. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for design calculations Shall be positive and work towards getting to high level of competency in the engineering field and possess a natural insight for the structural behavior of buildings. Conversant with relevant code of practices generally being used in the structural engineering industry like American, British Standards, etc. Rely on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals, performing variety of tasks simultaneously. Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to solve problems and work well with inter-office disciplines. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE Master’s degree in Structural Engineering 10 to 12 years of quality design experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role. Knowledge of local authority submission and approval workflows. Preferred: Experience in high-rise and mixed-use residential projects. Experience with international consultants is a plus. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for design calculations. Ensure compliance with relevant codes (American, British Standards, etc.). Plan and accomplish goals based on extensive experience; collaborate as a team with inter-office disciplines. Manage submissions and approvals workflows where applicable.
