The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and driving the sales function for a diversified portfolio of medical devices and healthcare solutions in Kuwait. The role will focus on achieving revenue and profitability targets, developing key healthcare accounts, expanding market penetration, managing the sales team, and building strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, healthcare professionals, and other key stakeholders. The position requires a commercially driven sales professional with strong knowledge of the Kuwait healthcare market and proven experience in medical devices, medical equipment, or related healthcare products. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement the annual sales strategy, plans, targets, and budgets in line with overall business objectives. • Lead, manage, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and departmental sales targets. • Drive sales growth across the company's medical device and healthcare product portfolio. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, medical centers, and other healthcare institutions. • Identify new business opportunities, potential customers, and areas for market expansion. • Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term business relationships. • Monitor sales performance, pipeline development, customer activity, and market coverage, and provide regular reports and forecasts to management. • Work closely with healthcare professionals and relevant stakeholders to understand clinical requirements and position suitable product solutions. • Support product demonstrations, presentations, workshops, conferences, and other customer engagement activities in coordination with the relevant teams. • Monitor market developments, competitor activities, pricing, customer requirements, and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential risks. • Support product launches and the introduction of new medical technologies into the Kuwait market. • Coordinate with international suppliers and manufacturers regarding product strategies, sales performance, market requirements, and business development opportunities. • Work closely with internal departments, including operations, supply chain, marketing, finance, and regulatory functions, to ensure effective execution of sales activities. • Participate in tenders, quotations, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions with healthcare institutions, as required. • Ensure sales activities and customer interactions comply with applicable regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical standards within the medical device industry. • Coach, guide, and evaluate the sales team, ensuring appropriate product knowledge, market coverage, and achievement of KPIs. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, or a related field. • Minimum 7–10 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within medical devices, medical equipment, surgical products, or healthcare distribution. • At least 3–5 years of experience in a sales management or team leadership capacity is preferred. • Strong knowledge of the Kuwait healthcare and medical device market. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing healthcare accounts. • Established relationships and experience dealing with hospitals, clinics, healthcare professionals, and key decision-makers in Kuwait would be highly advantageous. • Experience working with international medical device manufacturers or principals is preferred. • Exposure to government and/or private healthcare accounts, tenders, and institutional sales would be an advantage. • Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
