Chief Financial Officer

Barza Consulting is hiring on behalf of an established investment firm based in Dubai for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance function and work closely with the senior leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for the overall financial strategy at group level, governance and performance of the firm, providing strategic financial leadership while ensuring strong financial controls, reporting and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities • Lead the overall finance function, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting. • Partner with senior leadership on financial strategy, business planning and key investment decisions. • Oversee cash flow, liquidity, treasury and capital management. • Ensure robust financial controls, governance and risk management frameworks. • Manage financial and management reporting, audits, tax and regulatory requirements. • Provide financial analysis and insights to support investment and strategic decision-making. • Lead relationships with auditors, banks, regulators and other external stakeholders. • Drive improvements across finance processes, systems and reporting. • Lead and develop the finance team while maintaining high standards of financial governance. Requirements • Significant senior finance leadership experience for 15+ years, ideally within investment management, asset management, private equity, family offices, financial services or a related investment environment. • Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting, treasury, governance, risk and regulatory requirements. • Strong commercial and strategic mindset with the ability to work closely with senior leadership and investment teams. • Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent is preferred. • Prior experience within the UAE/GCC financial services or investment landscape would be advantageous. • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management capabilities Show more Show less
