Senior Accountant – Petroleum Business 📍 Location: Sharjah, UAE 💰 Salary: AED 5,000 per month We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join a company operating in the petroleum business in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of relevant UAE accounting experience, preferably within the petroleum or oil & gas sector. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions - Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records - Handle accounts payable and receivable - Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment records - Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations - Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting - Monitor expenses, payments, and cash flow - Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions - Assist with VAT, corporate tax, and other UAE compliance requirements - Coordinate with management, suppliers, customers, auditors, and other relevant parties - Support the finance team with other accounting and reporting requirements Requirements: - 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE - Relevant experience in the petroleum business is required - Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and regulations - Good understanding of VAT and corporate tax requirements - Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software - Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy - Good communication and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Show more Show less
