Quantity Surveyor / Cost Control Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

Location: Dubai, UAE Company: Crystal Fit Contracting LLC Industry: Interior Fit-Out / Design & Build Crystal Fit Contracting LLC is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Control Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The role will be responsible for the commercial and cost control of multiple ongoing fit-out projects, from tender and procurement through execution, variations and final account. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates and project budgets • Review drawings, specifications and project scope • Prepare tender packages and obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers • Prepare commercial comparison sheets and support subcontractor selection • Track project budget vs committed and actual costs • Maintain project cost reports and forecast Cost to Complete • Monitor project Gross Profit (GP) and GP% throughout execution • Identify potential cost overruns at an early stage • Prepare and manage client variations / VO submissions • Review and evaluate subcontractor variation claims • Verify subcontractor progress and payment applications • Track purchase orders, subcontract values and outstanding commitments • Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement and Accounting • Prepare monthly project commercial reports • Assist with client payment applications and project cash-flow forecasting • Prepare and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors Key Project Controls: Contract Value → Approved Variations → Revised Contract Value → Budget Cost → Committed Cost → Actual Cost → Cost to Complete → Forecast Final Cost → Forecast GP / GP% Requirements: • Minimum 3–5 years of QS / Cost Control experience • Strong experience in Dubai/UAE interior fit-out projects preferred • Good understanding of civil, architectural, joinery and MEP fit-out packages • Strong BOQ, quantity take-off and cost estimation skills • Advanced Excel skills • Experience with subcontractor procurement and commercial negotiations • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously • Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness • Good written and spoken English • UAE experience is strongly preferred Experience with restaurants, cafés, retail, offices, gyms, clinics or other commercial fit-out projects will be considered an advantage.
