Senior Software Engineer

Warah is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team and play a key role in building, scaling, and improving our HR management platform. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services. • Build reliable APIs and integrations across Warah’s HR, attendance, leave, payroll, and reporting products. • Lead technical design and contribute to system architecture decisions. • Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code. • Improve system performance, reliability, security, and scalability. • Design and optimize databases, queries, and application architecture. • Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term solutions. • Conduct code reviews and maintain strong engineering standards. • Work closely with the CTO, developers, and product team to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Mentor developers and support the overall growth of the engineering team. • Maintain strong testing, deployment, monitoring, backup, and security practices. • Contribute to Warah’s information security and ISO 27001 requirements. Requirements • 10+ years of professional software development experience. • Strong expertise in C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core. • Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend systems. • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, database architecture, and performance optimization. • Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or similar frameworks. • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design. • Experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud environments. • Strong understanding of application security and secure development practices. • Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern development workflows. • Proven experience building and maintaining production SaaS applications. • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and technical decision-making skills. • Ability to take full ownership of projects from requirements through production. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with HRMS, payroll, attendance, ERP, or enterprise business applications. • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture. • Experience designing systems for high availability and scalability. • Knowledge of ISO 27001 and information security frameworks. • Previous experience mentoring or technically leading software engineering teams.
