Al-Tuhoo is focused on continuous growth and providing high-quality products to its customers. Role Description The Barista & Tea Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Shuwaikh. This role is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Daily tasks include operating coffee and tea brewing equipment, handling food preparation related to beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service area, and managing stock of tea, coffee, and related supplies. The Barista & Tea Specialist will engage with customers, provide product recommendations, explain tea origins and brewing methods, and deliver efficient, friendly customer service. The role also involves following health and safety standards, supporting promotional activities, and collaborating with the team to create a welcoming environment. Qualifications • Strong Barista skills with experience in preparing espresso-based drinks and specialty teas, including knowledge of brewing methods and beverage presentation. • Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to interact respectfully and professionally with diverse customers and team members. • Clear and confident Communication skills to explain menu items, make recommendations, and handle customer inquiries or concerns. • Food Preparation skills to safely handle ingredients, follow recipes, and adhere to hygiene and safety standards. • Previous experience in a café, tea house, or hospitality environment is preferred. • Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple orders, and work in a fast-paced setting. • Basic math skills for handling cash, POS systems, and inventory counts. • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
