Senior Design Manager

SSH Design is looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role will lead the multidisciplinary design delivery of large-scale and complex building projects, ensuring design quality, technical excellence, coordination and successful delivery from concept through detailed design. Key Responsibilities • Lead multidisciplinary design teams across Architecture, Structures, MEP and specialist disciplines. • Manage design delivery, coordination, programme, quality and key project milestones. • Act as a senior interface with clients, consultants and project stakeholders. • Lead design reviews and resolve complex technical and coordination issues. • Manage third-party consultants and ensure effective integration of their designs. • Ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable codes and authority regulations. • Drive BIM coordination, constructability and design quality throughout the project lifecycle. • Mentor and provide leadership to Design Managers and wider project teams. Requirements • Degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline. • 15+ years' experience, with significant experience in multidisciplinary design management. • Strong consultancy background with experience delivering large-scale buildings, high-rise, mixed-use, hospitality and/or residential developments. • Proven client-facing and team leadership experience. • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design processes and BIM-led delivery. • KSA/GCC project experience highly preferred. • Professional registration with a recognised institution is advantageous.
