Associate / Senior Associate – Equity Capital Markets Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE Permanent | Competitive Salary + Benefits An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a leading international law firm's Equity Capital Markets practice in the UAE. Advising issuers, investment banks, financial institutions and corporate clients, you will work on a broad range of domestic and cross-border capital markets transactions across the Middle East. This role is ideally suited to lawyers already based in the UAE who are looking to take the next step in their career within a market-leading international practice. Role • Advise on a broad range of equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings and other public equity issuances • Act for issuers, underwriters, investment banks and corporate clients across the GCC • Draft and negotiate transaction documentation and regulatory filings • Manage transactions from inception through to completion, working closely with clients and international colleagues • Build and maintain strong client relationships across the region • Support business development initiatives, client pitches and thought leadership • Mentor and supervise junior lawyers where appropriate Candidate Requirements • Qualified lawyer with experience in Equity Capital Markets gained within a leading international or regional law firm • Strong experience advising on IPOs and other equity capital markets transactions • Experience advising on transactions within the GCC, with familiarity across regional stock exchanges and regulatory frameworks • Candidates should already be based in the UAE • Experience gained at a leading international law firm is highly desirable • Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills • Commercially minded with strong client relationship management skills • Able to manage matters independently and work effectively across international teams This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly regarded international practice working on sophisticated cross-border transactions across the Middle East, offering high-quality work, genuine career progression and exposure to some of the region's most significant capital markets mandates.
