Role Description The Electrical Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuwait City. The individual in this role oversees electrical installation work, coordinates with site supervisors and installers, and ensures that lighting and control systems are implemented according to design specifications and safety standards. Typical tasks include supervising daily site activities, conducting inspections and tests on electrical systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and verifying compliance with local codes and project requirements. The Electrical Site Engineer prepares documentation and reports, supports project planning and scheduling, and collaborates with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely and quality completion of installations. The role also involves monitoring resource use on site and supporting continuous improvement in installation practices. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong knowledge in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity principles. • Candidates should possess skills in Site Supervision and experience coordinating on-site electrical installation activities. • Candidates should possess abilities in Electrical Testing to verify performance, safety, and compliance of installed systems. • Candidates should possess experience in Electrical Maintenance, including diagnosing and resolving faults in lighting and control systems. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred. • Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and technical specifications and using relevant testing tools and equipment. • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in construction and installation. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment. • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. • Previous experience in lighting or building services projects in the Gulf region is an advantage.
