NOC L1 (Sri Lankan & Filipinos Only)

We are looking for a NOC L1 Engineer to monitor IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and applications in a 24/7 NOC environment. The role involves first-level troubleshooting, incident management, alert handling, and timely escalation to L2/L3 teams. Key Responsibilities • Monitor network devices, servers, applications, and infrastructure using monitoring tools. • Monitor WAN, LAN, VPN, internet connectivity, bandwidth, latency, and availability. • Respond to alerts, alarms, and service disruptions and perform L1 troubleshooting. • Troubleshoot basic TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VPN, and connectivity issues. • Perform basic troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, Windows and Linux systems. • Log, categorize, prioritize, and track incidents through ITSM/ticketing platforms. • Ensure incidents and alerts are handled within defined SLAs. • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams as per escalation procedures. • Maintain accurate incident records, shift handovers, and operational reports. • Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and service providers during incidents. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Networking, or related field. • 1–3 years of experience in NOC, Network Operations, IT Support, Service Desk, or Infrastructure Support. • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching. • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios, or ManageEngine. • Knowledge of Windows/Linux troubleshooting and IT infrastructure monitoring. • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, Fresh service, ManageEngine, or similar ITSM platforms. • Basic understanding of incident, problem, and change management. • Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and analytical skills. • Willingness to work rotational shifts in a 24/7 NOC environment. Preferred Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, or relevant Microsoft certifications. Show more Show less
