Senior Landscape Architect

Company Description Kling Consult International GmbH and Co KG - Dubai Branch is a leading architectural and engineering consultancy headquartered in Germany. Established in 1954, KC opened its first international office in Dubai, U.A.E in 2004, and has since become prominent in the Middle East and Asia. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our Site supervision team for a prestigious villa development project. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality landscaping that meets design intent, client expectations, and site execution standards. This is a full-time 6 days a week on-site role located in Dubai, UAE. Responsibilities • Supervise and monitor all landscape works on site, ensuring alignment with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards. • Coordinate with the design team, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve landscape-related technical issues. • Review and approve landscape shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups. • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure timely reporting of progress, deviations, or non-compliances. • Monitor softscape, hardscape, irrigation, and external furniture installations. • Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover of landscape areas. • Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and project-specific environmental standards. • Provide technical guidance to junior staff and maintain design consistency across the site. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture. • Minimum 15 years of total experience • At least 10 years of experience in Dubai, with strong knowledge of local authorities, standards, and construction practices. • Minimum 5 years on villa, residential community, or large-scale public realm projects. • Strong site supervision background, particularly on softscape, hardscape, and irrigation systems. • Excellent communication and coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and familiarity with BIM-related coordination is an advantage. • Membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., ASLA, IFLA, UAE Society of Engineers) is a plus.
