Cloud Migration Project Manager - 6-12 MONTHS EXTENDABLE CONTRACT We require an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager Project Manager – Cloud Migration Office The Project Manager – Cloud Migration Office is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering enterprise-wide cloud migration initiatives. This role leads cross-functional teams, manages migration portfolios, ensures alignment with business objectives, and drives the successful transition of applications, infrastructure, and services to cloud platforms. The Project Manager serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, cloud architects, vendors, and executive leadership to ensure migrations are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal operational disruption. Key Responsibilities Program and Project Management • Lead end-to-end cloud migration projects across multiple business units. • Develop and maintain migration roadmaps, project plans, schedules, and resource allocations. • Establish governance frameworks, project controls, and reporting mechanisms. • Track project progress, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of milestones. • Coordinate multiple concurrent migration workstreams and priorities. Stakeholder Management • Engage business and IT stakeholders to define migration objectives and success criteria. • Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive progress reviews. • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to senior leadership. • Build strong relationships with internal teams, cloud service providers, and external partners. Cloud Migration Delivery • Oversee assessment, planning, migration, and post-migration activities. • Ensure alignment with cloud adoption frameworks and enterprise architecture standards. • Coordinate application migration waves, infrastructure modernization, and data migration activities. • Support decisions regarding rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, and retirement strategies. Essential previous experience MUST include • Minimum 10+ years of project management experience, including large-scale technology transformation programs. • Demonstrated experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies. • Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. • Previous experience working with government entities in Dubai or Abu Dhabi • Experience working with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams • Previous experience working for a major SI or IT consultancy • Proven track record of longevity on previous assignments • Minimum 5 years cloud migration project management experience • Very strong client facing skills.
