Job title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer Location: Dubai About the Opportunity We are supporting an international consultancy with the appointment of a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing Dubai team. The role will lead electrical design across complex high-rise, cultural, residential and mixed-use developments throughout the GCC, taking projects from pre-concept through design development, IFC and authority approvals. Key Responsibilities • Lead electrical design on complex high-rise, cultural, residential and mixed-use developments across the GCC • Take projects from pre-concept through design development, IFC documentation and authority approvals • Work directly with clients and take responsibility for the commercial and financial aspects of projects • Lead and motivate a small Dubai-based and offshore design team • Ensure designs comply with local authority requirements including DEWA, SEWA and Civil Defence • Provide strong technical leadership and deliver high-quality electrical design packages Requirements • 12+ years’ experience in electrical design, with strong UAE/GCC consultancy experience • Excellent knowledge of local codes and authority requirements (DEWA, SEWA, Civil Defence) • Degree in Electrical Engineering • Chartered (or actively working towards Chartered status) – preferred • Proven ability to lead electrical design and manage commercial/financial project aspects • Exceptional communication skills and strong technical capability Show more Show less

12+ years’ experience in electrical design, with strong UAE/GCC consultancy experience. Excellent knowledge of local codes and authority requirements (DEWA, SEWA, Civil Defence).
