Assistant Chef We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Chef to join our kitchen team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing healthy, fresh, and nutritious food while maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, hygiene, and food safety. Location: Dubai, UAE Job Type: Full-time Work Type: On-site Key Responsibilities • Assist the Head Chef/Chef with daily kitchen operations and food preparation. • Prepare healthy meals, salads, sandwiches, bowls, wraps, and other nutritious food items according to recipes and standards. • Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled safely. • Follow standardized recipes, portion sizes, and preparation procedures. • Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation. • Assist with food preparation, cooking, plating, and service during busy periods. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. • Follow Dubai Municipality food safety and hygiene requirements. • Monitor stock levels and inform the Chef of any shortages or wastage. • Minimize food wastage and ensure proper utilization of ingredients. • Support inventory checks and daily kitchen opening and closing procedures. • Follow proper temperature control, storage, labeling, and FIFO procedures. Requirements • Previous experience as an Assistant Chef, Commis Chef, or similar kitchen position. • Experience in healthy food, diet food, salads, meal preparation, or fitness-focused cuisine is an advantage. • Good knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and kitchen safety. • Ability to follow recipes and portion-control standards accurately. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. • Good teamwork and communication skills. • Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required. • Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
