Electrical Engineer (Landscape & Swimming Pool - Projects)

Role Overview: We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to execute and supervise electrical works for landscape and swimming pool projects in the UAE. The candidate should bring solid execution experience from a UAE contracting firm, with hands-on exposure to pool and landscape electrical/lighting systems. Responsibilities: • Execute and supervise electrical installation works on site, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems for landscape and swimming pool projects. • Review and interpret electrical shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications to ensure correct site execution. • Coordinate installation of pool-specific electrical systems, including pump control panels, pool lighting, bonding, and earthing in compliance with safety standards. • Supervise electrical subcontractors and site technicians, ensuring works progress in line with the project schedule. • Conduct site inspections and testing (e.g., insulation resistance, earthing, load testing) to verify installation quality and safety compliance. • Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspection, testing, and NCR close-out related to electrical works. • Liaise with DEWA and other relevant UAE authorities for approvals, inspections, and utility connections. • Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, material requisitions, and as-built documentation for electrical works. • Ensure all electrical works comply with UAE wiring regulations, civil defence requirements, and project specifications. • Support commissioning of electrical and pool control systems, ensuring safe handover to the client. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. • Minimum 8 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer within a UAE-based contracting firm. • Proven experience specifically on landscape and swimming pool execution projects in the UAE, including pool electrical and lighting systems. • Strong knowledge of UAE electrical wiring regulations, DEWA requirements, and civil defence standards. • Practical experience in site execution, supervision of subcontractors, and testing/commissioning of electrical systems.
