🚨 Whizz HR Hiring Mechanical Design Engineer – HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting (Building Services / MEP Consultancy) Company Architectural & Engineering Consultancy Firm Location United Arab Emirates Position Summary We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems for building services projects in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and authority submission of mechanical systems for residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and high-rise developments in compliance with UAE regulations and international standards. Key Responsibilities • Prepare mechanical design drawings and calculations for HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems. • Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and other engineering disciplines. • Develop concept, schematic, detailed, and authority submission designs. • Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations, international codes, and project requirements. • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation. • Review shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor proposals. • Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams. • Provide technical support during project execution and construction stages. • Support timely delivery of projects while maintaining design quality and coordination standards. • Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and relevant engineering tools for project development. • Ensure compliance with: • UAE authority regulations • UAE Civil Defense requirements • ASHRAE standards • NFPA standards • IPC / UPC and local plumbing codes Qualification sEducatio • nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering .Experienc • eMinimum 4–10 years of experience in MEP / building services consultancy • .UAE/GCC consultancy experience preferred • .Experience in residential towers, villas, commercial buildings, hospitality, and mixed-use developments .Technical Skill • sProficiency in • :AutoCA • DRevit ME • PHAP / Elite / equivalent HVAC softwar • ePipe sizing and hydraulic calculation softwar • eMicrosoft Offic • eGood understanding of • :HVAC design principle • sUAE authority requirement • sASHRAE standard • sNFPA code • sEnergy efficiency and sustainability requirement sDesired Skill • sStrong technical and analytical capability • .Good communication and coordination skills • .Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines • .Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities .Employment Detail • sEmployment Type: Full-Tim • eIndustry: Architectural & Engineering Consultancy / Building Service s ??
