Mechanical Engineer Location: Germany Job Type: Full-time Work Model: On-site / Hybrid, depending on project and employer Experience: 2+ years preferred Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing / Automotive / Industrial Technology About the Role We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Germany. The successful candidate will contribute to mechanical design, product development, engineering analysis, testing, and continuous improvement projects. This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects within Germany’s engineering and manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and improve mechanical components, assemblies, and systems. • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation. • Use CAD tools for 2D/3D modelling and mechanical design. • Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design verification where required. • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, electrical, and project engineering teams. • Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and product improvement activities. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. • Relevant professional experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, product development, or a related field. • Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards. • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, or equivalent. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills • Experience with GD&T, FMEA, tolerance analysis, or engineering validation. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards. • Experience with engineering analysis or simulation tools such as ANSYS is an advantage. • Professional working proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage depending on the position.
