Product Lead – Government Digital Products A technology organisation delivering digital platforms for government entities in Abu Dhabi is hiring a Product Lead to own a portfolio of live government products end to end, from roadmap through delivery, adoption and ongoing service quality. This is a hands on ownership role. You'll be the direct point of contact for government clients on your product portfolio, responsible for keeping delivery, reliability and satisfaction on track, and for carving a path toward a shared platform that lets the business expand into new government markets faster. What you'll own Product Strategy & Roadmap • Own the strategy and roadmap for your assigned government products, working within the wider product direction set above you • Turn government priorities, policy requirements and user needs into a clear, deliverable plan, and take ownership of that plan rather than pushing constraints back upstream • Set goals and success measures for your products covering adoption, client satisfaction, uptime and delivery quality • Look for ways similar products can converge onto shared platform foundations, so new government clients can be brought on faster and with less rebuilding Government Relationships & Client Satisfaction • Act as the main product contact for your government clients, keeping alignment on scope, priorities and outcomes, and building a genuine two way feedback loop with the people actually using your products • Track client satisfaction and service performance, including uptime and incident trends, and own the fix when either falls short • Run discovery sessions and requirements workshops directly with government stakeholders, and document decisions and trade offs clearly • Represent your products in governance forums and steering committees with clear, evidence based reporting Delivery & Lifecycle • Own your products end to end, discovery, requirements, delivery, launch, adoption and ongoing improvement, holding your team and any delivery partners to a high standard • Prioritise the backlog based on government priority, customer value, technical dependencies and risk, and make the trade off calls yourself rather than escalating every decision • Track delivery against roadmap and service commitments, and act quickly the moment performance slips AI & Modernisation • Find and deliver practical AI and automation opportunities within your products, working within the evaluation and safeguard frameworks set by the wider product function • Push what AI can responsibly do in a government context, balancing innovation against privacy, security and regulatory reality • Contribute to the next generation of platforms that connect into and build on existing government systems Cross Functional Leadership & Risk • Lead delivery across Technology, UX, Operations, Finance and third party partners, keeping everyone aligned on outcomes • Spot and manage product level risks, delivery, adoption, integration, security, privacy and third party dependencies • Communicate progress, satisfaction, risk and trade offs clearly to leadership and to senior stakeholders on both sides What we're looking for • 10+ years in product management, digital product development, digital transformation or similar • Genuine experience managing government projects, government digital services, or large scale public sector technology initiatives • A track record of owning complex digital products from strategy and requirements through to delivery, launch and real value • Strong product fundamentals, strategy, roadmapping, prioritisation, lifecycle management, outcome measurement • Comfortable operating inside structured government approval and governance environments, not frustrated by them • A track record of driving client satisfaction, service quality and platform reliability, uptime, SLAs, incident management, closed loop feedback • Able to turn complex government, business and user requirements into clear functional and technical product requirements • Solid understanding of enterprise platforms, APIs, system integrations, Agile/Scrum delivery and tools like JIRA • Sound understanding of AI enabled products and automation, with real awareness of privacy, security and responsible use • Excellent written and verbal communication, and good judgement when things are ambiguous • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, economics, information systems, marketing or similar.
