Certified Public Accountant

GLOMACS is looking for a qualified and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team in Dubai. We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional with proven UAE accounting experience who can take ownership of accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance activities. Key Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations • Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses • Maintain complete and accurate accounting records • Manage UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and filings • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning • Coordinate with external auditors and provide required financial documentation • Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and financial controls • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and UAE regulations • Manage and maintain accounting processes within Odoo ERP • Work with ERP systems to ensure accurate financial data, reporting, and controls • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management • Requirements • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE — mandatory • Currently based in Dubai — mandatory • Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP — mandatory • Strong experience with ERP systems and accounting software • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax — mandatory • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting • Proven experience with UAE accounting and regulatory requirements • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines • Strong communication and interpersonal skills ⚠️ Important: This position is open only to candidates currently based in the UAE with proven UAE accounting experience.
