Civil Estimation Engineer

Job Position Civil Estimation Engineer Job ID #01-2026 Department Engineering Job Details Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with MOHESR Equivalency • Engineer's License from Abu Dhabi Municipality • Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in a civil estimation role in the UAE Knowledge & Skills • Experience in one or more of the following sectors: • Water transmission pipelines • Sewerage networks • Pump stations • Water Treatment Plants (WTP) • Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) • Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants • RCC reservoirs and associated civil structures • Cost Estimation & Rate Analysis • Tendering & Bid Preparation • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel Key Responsibilities • Prepare quantity take-offs (QTOs), Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and detailed cost estimates from tender drawings and specifications. • Prepare cost estimates for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, RO plants, reservoirs, and associated civil works. • Review tender documents, identify project scope, and prepare technical and commercial clarifications where required. • Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and perform rate analysis. • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and commercial teams during the tendering process. • Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering proposals to support competitive bids. • Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions in accordance with client requirements. • Maintain estimating records, cost databases, and historical pricing information to improve estimating accuracy. • Support the handover of awarded projects by providing estimate details and tender assumptions to the project execution team.
