Management Accountant AED 10,500 plus medical & 2 x annual air tickets for self Our client, a Global Operations and Logistics Consultancy in Dubai is looking to expand its accounting team and hire a Management Accountant to oversee its UAE and Bahrain Subsidiaries. This is a hands-on, multi-entity role responsible for managing the full accounting cycle across several Group subsidiary companies, with exposure to management accounts, month-end and year-end close, VAT, budgeting, reporting and financial controls. Responsibilities: • Manage the full accounting cycle across multiple Group entities, including AP, AR and general ledger • Create, record and allocate customer invoices and credit notes, and post customer receipts • Perform bank reconciliations, process bank transfers and manage suspense accounts • Lead month-end activities including accruals, prepayments, deferred/accrued income, depreciation, fixed assets, petty cash and AP/AR reconciliations • Prepare and review management accounts and financial reporting • Support quarterly VAT/GST returns and liaise with local accountants and external advisors • Coordinate year-end audit requirements, including auditor liaison, bank confirmations and review of year-end accounts • Maintain financial analytics, cost centre/area reporting and company-specific reporting requirements • Support annual budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis • Review and process employee expense claims and salary payments • Maintain accurate and timely general ledger records and ensure appropriate financial controls are followed Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with 3-5 years relevant management accounting experience • Solid understanding of month-end and year-end closing processes • Strong experience in management accounts and financial reporting • Good knowledge of IFRS • Understanding of tax and regulatory requirements • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Show more Show less
