NOW HIRING - ASSOCIATE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT Our Client is a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering consultancy delivering iconic projects across the Middle East. The Position: The Associate Landscape Architect will play a key leadership role in the delivery of high-profile landscape architecture projects across the Middle East. The position requires a strong combination of design excellence, technical expertise, team leadership, and client engagement, contributing strategically to project success from concept through construction. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design development of complex landscape architecture projects from concept, schematic, and detailed design through to construction documentation • Ensure design quality, innovation, and technical excellence across all project stages • Oversee the preparation and review of drawings, specifications, reports, and tender documentation in accordance with local and international standards • Provide expert input on sustainable design strategies, materials, planting, irrigation, and environmental considerations relevant to the regional climate • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards • Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, urban designers, engineers, and specialist consultants • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve technical and design issues efficiently • Act as a key point of contact for clients, authorities, and stakeholders • Lead and participate in client meetings, design workshops, and presentations • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, fee estimates, and interviews • Lead, mentor, and develop junior and mid-level landscape architects and designers • Provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and performance support to project teams • Contribute to the development of best practices, design standards, and internal processes Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture • 12+ years of professional experience, including significant Middle East project exposure • Proven experience delivering large-scale public realm, mixed-use, hospitality, or infrastructure-related projects • Strong knowledge of regional authority requirements, standards, and approval processes • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with BIM and 3D software is an advantage • Strong design, technical, and project leadership skills • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing abilities • Experience leading and mentoring junior and mid-level team members Show more Show less
