Job Description • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance. • Perform bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations. • Support month-end and year-end close activities. • Assist in preparing monthly management reports and financial statements. • Process and review supplier payments, employee expenses, and banking transactions. • Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate cash position records. • Manage accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring timely processing and follow-up. • Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries. • Support external audits by preparing schedules and required documentation. • Prepare VAT returns and support taxation compliance and reporting requirements. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. • Maintain accurate financial records within the ERP system and support process improvement initiatives. The Successful Applicant • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA are advantageous. • 2 to 4 years of accounting experience. • Strong experience in payment processing, banking operations, and reconciliations. • Good knowledge of taxation, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. • Understanding of IFRS and accounting best practices. • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Must be based in the UAE (open to candidates without UAE work experience) • Immediately available candidates preferred.
