Project Control Manager We are seeking an experienced Project Control Manager to lead project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress monitoring, and reporting activities across large-scale EPC projects within the oil and gas sector. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with client expectations. YOUR ROLE As Project Control Manager, you will Project Planning & Scheduling • Develop, implement, and maintain integrated project schedules using industry-standard planning tools. • Perform critical path analysis, resource loading, and schedule forecasting. • Ensure project schedules align with contractual milestones, project objectives, and client expectations. • Identify scheduling risks and constraints and develop recovery plans to mitigate delays. Cost Control & Budget Management • Prepare, monitor, and update project budgets throughout the project lifecycle. • Track project expenditures and analyze budget variances. • Identify cost risks and potential overruns, recommending corrective actions. • Produce detailed cost reports, forecasts, and financial performance analyses. Progress Monitoring & Reporting • Monitor project progress against approved schedules and budgets. • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance. • Prepare weekly and monthly project control reports for senior management and clients. • Support project teams in implementing corrective and preventive measures to improve performance. Risk & Change Management • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks affecting schedule, cost, and scope. • Manage change orders and evaluate their impact on project delivery. • Support contract administration and collaborate with commercial, procurement, and legal teams regarding contract amendments and claims. • Maintain project risk registers and mitigation plans. Quality Control & Compliance • Ensure project control processes comply with company standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements. • Conduct audits of project schedules, cost reports, forecasts, and project documentation. • Promote best practices in project controls across all assigned projects. Stakeholder Management • Serve as the focal point for all project controls activities. • Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, finance, and commercial teams. • Maintain strong communication with clients, contractors, consultants, and vendors. • Present project performance reports and recommendations to executive leadership. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Experience • Minimum 12 years of experience in Project Controls within the Oil & Gas, EPC, Civil Infrastructure, or Power sectors. • Proven track record managing project controls for large-scale, complex, multidisciplinary projects. • Strong experience in planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and progress measurement. • Demonstrated success supporting the execution of major EPC projects from initiation through completion. Education and Certifications • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. • Master's Degree is preferred. • PMP (Project Management Professional) • AACE Certifications (CCP, PSP or equivalent) • Primavera P6 Certification • Additional credentials in Risk Management, Scheduling, Cost Engineering, or Project Controls are highly advantageous. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and project control systems. • Strong expertise in earned value management (EVM), forecasting, cost analysis, and risk management. • Excellent reporting and analytical capabilities. • Proficient in ERP and project management software platforms. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication abilities. • Strategic thinking with excellent problem-solving capabilities. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven project environment.
