Design Architect

Job Purpose The Design Architect is a hands-on role responsible for developing luxury villa architectural designs from concept through technical documentation, ensuring high-quality, functional, and buildable designs that meet client requirements and Dubai regulations. Key Responsibilities 1. Architectural Design — Core Focus • Develop architectural concepts, layouts, elevations, and design solutions for luxury villas. • Prepare mood boards, material selections, 3D visualisations, and presentations. • Develop designs from concept through technical drawings and execution handover. • Coordinate architectural designs with interior, landscape, structural, and MEP requirements. 2. Technical Drawings & Documentation • Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and architectural documentation. • Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with relevant authority requirements. • Maintain drawing standards, revisions, and documentation control. • Coordinate with consultants and project teams to resolve technical issues. 3. Coordination & Design Development • Coordinate with sales, procurement, projects, and operations teams to ensure designs are practical and deliverable. • Select appropriate materials, finishes, and architectural elements. • Support client presentations, proposals, and tender submissions. • Coordinate with the landscape team where required. 4. Quality & Standards • Establish and maintain design standards, style guides, and best practices across all villa projects. • Stay current with luxury landscape and villa design trends, materials, and design technology. • Ensure design consistency and brand identity across the company's portfolio of projects. Requirements & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field. • 5+ years of architectural design experience, preferably in luxury villas. • Strong portfolio demonstrating architectural and technical design skills. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and relevant visualization tools. • Knowledge of architectural materials, detailing, and construction methods. • Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and relevant authority requirements. • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage. • UAE driving license preferred.
