Proof of Talk
Business Development Manager – Sponsorship Sales (AI, Tech & Digital Assets)You may never want a normal sales job again. We're building Proof of Talk into a global platform for the people making some of the biggest decisions in technology, finance, AI and digital assets. Our philosophy is simple: Small rooms. Big decisions. Proof of Talk started in Paris, where our flagship summit takes place inside the Louvre Palace. The concept is deliberately different from the traditional conference model. No enormous expo halls. No thousands of random badges. No pay-to-speak stages. We build highly curated rooms around the people who can actually move capital, budgets, technology and strategy. Our Paris edition has brought together senior leaders from institutions, global technology companies, investors, founders and policymakers — including organizations such as Franklin Templeton, JPMorganChase, Mastercard, SWIFT, State Street, Robinhood and many more. And now we're expanding. In December 2026, Proof of Talk comes to Louvre Abu Dhabi. The two-day edition will bring together two worlds that are increasingly converging: Day I — Digital Assets & Finance Day II — Artificial Intelligence We are looking for someone who can help us commercially build both. Your Role As Business Development Manager – Sponsorship Sales, you will be responsible for bringing some of the world's most important AI, technology, financial and digital-asset companies into the Proof of Talk ecosystem. This is a full-cycle sales role. You identify the companies. You find the right person. You open the door. You understand what they want. You build the opportunity. You negotiate. You close. You will sell sponsorships and strategic partnerships across Proof of Talk's international event portfolio, including our flagship Paris edition and Proof of Talk Abu Dhabi. The AI Network Matters This is important. We are not looking for an “AI expert” because you know how to use ChatGPT. We're interested in your network inside AI and technology. Proof of Talk Abu Dhabi will include an entire day dedicated to AI. That means we're building relationships with companies across areas such as: • AI infrastructure • Compute • Cloud • Chips and hardware • Data centres • Foundation models • Enterprise AI • AI agents • Autonomous engineering • Developer platforms • Data infrastructure • Cybersecurity • AI applications • Sovereign AI • Enterprise technology We want someone who already understands this ecosystem and ideally already knows people inside it. Maybe you know: • Founders • CMOs • CROs • Heads of Partnerships • Heads of Ecosystem • VP Marketing • Regional Directors • Enterprise Sales Leaders • Country Managers • Corporate Communications Leaders • Business Development Leaders at AI and technology companies. That's valuable to us. You don't need to be an engineer. You need to understand the industry well enough to know who matters, who has budget, why they would participate, and how to get them into a conversation. What You'll Sell We don't want to sell companies another logo on another conference wall. Our strongest partnerships are built around a company's actual commercial objectives. A partner might want to: • Meet specific enterprise customers • Enter the Middle East • Meet governments or sovereign entities • Build relationships with financial institutions • Position itself around the AI transformation • Reach investors • Meet founders • Own a strategic category • Build executive-level brand awareness • Host an intimate roundtable • Bring together specific decision-makers • Create a private dinner • Generate senior-level meetings • Position its leadership around an important industry conversation Your job is to discover the objective first. Then build the commercial partnership around it. What You'll OwnSponsorship Revenue You will own your commercial pipeline from beginning to end: Target → Outreach → Discovery → Proposal → Negotiation → Close → Account Growth → Renewal You'll be responsible for: • Identifying high-value sponsorship prospects • Building target account lists • Opening new commercial relationships • Leveraging your existing AI and technology network • Cold outbound where relationships don't already exist • Running discovery calls • Understanding sponsor objectives • Creating tailored commercial propositions • Presenting Proof of Talk • Negotiating partnership agreements • Closing revenue • Maintaining an accurate CRM • Growing existing accounts • Driving renewals • Developing multi-event and long-term partnerships Who We Want Required • 3+ years of B2B sales, sponsorship sales, business development, media sales or enterprise technology sales experience • Demonstrated track record of generating new business • Experience owning opportunities from prospecting through close • Strong outbound sales skills • Commercial confidence • Strong negotiation ability • Excellent written and spoken English • Comfortable speaking with senior executives and founders • Experience working against measurable revenue targets • Strong CRM discipline • Comfortable working independently • Comfortable in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment Most importantly: You have an existing professional network within AI, technology, digital assets, finance, events, media or related industries. For this role, relationships matter. We want someone who can look at a target list of the world's leading AI and technology companies and already recognize companies, decision-makers and routes into those organizations. Particularly Interesting Backgrounds We would especially like to meet people coming from: • AI companies • Enterprise technology • SaaS • Cloud / infrastructure • Technology conferences • B2B events • Sponsorship sales • Media sales • Event partnerships • FinTech • Digital assets / Web3 • Venture capital ecosystems • Technology communities • Innovation platforms Previous conference sponsorship experience is excellent. But it isn't mandatory. A great enterprise-tech salespe
