Senior Accountant

Hays is partnering with a growing organisation in Dubai that is seeking to appoint a Senior Accountant to support its finance operations across regional entities. Role Overview The Senior Accountant will be responsible for management reporting, financial analysis, product costing, budgeting, and profitability assessment. The role will work closely with operational teams to improve financial performance, strengthen cost controls, and provide meaningful insights to support business decision-making across Dubai and Sudan operations. Key Responsibilities • Prepare management accounts, financial reports, and performance analysis • Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Lead product costing, profitability analysis, and cost control initiatives • Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting compliance • Partner with operations and procurement teams to improve efficiencies and reduce costs • Support audits, internal controls, and regulatory compliance • Develop financial dashboards and management reporting using ERP systems and Power BI • Assist with financial modelling, pricing analysis, and investment evaluations Requirements • CMA or equivalent professional qualification • Minimum 12 years of experience in accounting, costing, and management reporting • Experience within manufacturing, trading, or service sectors • Strong knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and profitability analysis • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Power BI, and Excel • Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to travel periodically to Sudan and support multiple entities This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation in a commercially focused finance role, offering exposure to strategic reporting, costing, and business partnering across regional operations.
