VP - M&A

Hays is partnered with a prestigious independent advisory firms to identify an exceptional VP - M&A for their Dubai office. The firm is seeking a rare talent who can take ownership on complex mandates with minimal oversight, mentor the next generation of analysts, and thrive across the full spectrum of M&A deals across the MENA region. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, leading transactions end-to-end even without Director-level oversight. You are the trusted presence in the room, the banker who sets the benchmark for the team, and the leader who develops the next generation of talent. Responsibilities: • Own the full M&A lifecycle through to close • Lead financial modelling, deal structuring, and valuation across buy side and sell side deals • Prepare and present pitch books, IM's, and board material to the highest standard • Train, mentor, and support analysts, setting technical and professional standards Requirements: • 6 - 8 years of M&A experience at a tier 1 bulge bracket or elite boutique, a strong Senior Associate ready to make the step up, or an early-stage VP would be an ideal fit • Excellent academic record from a top University; MBA or CFA preferred • Proven ability to run complex deal execution at the highest quality level independently • Broad and varied M&A deal experience with sector experience within Real Estate, Infrastructure, Renewables, Energy, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Heavy Industries or TMT This is a rare opportunity to work for a tier investment firm, they are offering a competitive package and relocation support.
