Accountant

Location: Dubai Linguistic capabilities: Good written & spoken English & Arabic is mandatory The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, processing transactions, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting and taxation requirements. Key Responsibilities • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger. • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. • Perform monthly bank reconciliations. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. • Support internal and external audits. • Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation. • Ensure compliance with VAT and other statutory requirements. • Coordinate with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders. • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 4 years of accounting experience. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) is preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of VAT regulations is an advantage.
