YOUR ROLE As Construction Manager - Fabrication you will • Manage and supervise all fabrication yard activities for Oil & Gas EPC projects. • Lead multidisciplinary construction teams to achieve project milestones and productivity targets. • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, project specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards. • Monitor fabrication progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions. • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, Planning, and Client representatives to ensure smooth project execution. • Review construction methodologies, work schedules, and resource allocation plans. • Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure contractual compliance. • Ensure quality requirements are met during fabrication, assembly, welding, and structural activities. • Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety performance. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Education / Certifications / Licenses • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. • Professional certifications are an advantage. Experience • Minimum 12-18 years of experience in construction and fabrication within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, or EPC industry. • At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role overseeing fabrication yards or modular construction projects. • Proven experience managing structural steel, piping, pressure vessels, and modular fabrication activities. Skills and Competencies • Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding standards, and construction methodologies. • Familiarity with international standards such as ASME, API, AWS, and ISO requirements. • Strong project planning, scheduling, and cost-control capabilities. • Ability to manage large workforces and multiple subcontractors simultaneously. • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on project delivery and operational excellence.
