About us Metrion Trading FZCO is a wholesale distributor of Apple and Samsung products based in Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA). The role You will be our first in-house accounting hire, reporting directly to the General Manager. Your #1 job is correct books: collect every incoming document, check it, enter it accurately and on time, and keep this process under tight control. You also own our tax filings. Responsibilities - Collect documents from suppliers and customers (invoices, delivery notes, contracts) and make sure every document is complete, correct, signed and stamped. Chase missing or incorrect paperwork by phone, email and in person. This is the core of the role - Check every incoming document before recording it: amounts, dates, TRN, signatures, stamps - Enter supplier invoices, sales invoices, receipts and payment vouchers into our accounting system (Odoo / 1C) - Set up and maintain bank integration; process daily bank statements and reconcile bank accounts - Reconcile supplier and customer accounts - Prepare and submit tax filings - Handle customs documents for goods movements (DAFZA / Dubai customs) - Prepare payment registers for management approval - Keep the document archive in order (invoices, contracts, customs documents) - Work with our in-house developers on improving and automating the accounting system Requirements - Hands-on experience with Odoo or 1C is required.
