Driver (Pet Transport & Animal Services)

Job Title: Pet Transport & Animal Services Driver Location: Dubai, UAE Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview We are looking for a responsible, compassionate, and reliable Pet Transport & Animal Services Driver to safely and efficiently transport pets between homes, veterinary clinics, grooming facilities, airports, boarding facilities, and other designated locations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling animals, follow safety and hygiene procedures, and provide professional and friendly customer service while representing the company. Key Responsibilities Pet Transportation & Handling • Safely transport pets to and from designated locations. • Ensure pets are properly secured and transported comfortably. • Handle animals gently and confidently according to approved procedures. • Monitor pets during transportation for signs of stress, discomfort, or illness. • Assist with loading and unloading pets, crates, and carriers. • Follow company animal welfare guidelines and handling SOPs. Vehicle Safety & Maintenance • Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including cleanliness, fuel, air conditioning, and safety equipment. • Maintain high hygiene and sanitation standards inside the vehicle. • Ensure crates, carriers, and transport equipment are clean and safe before each trip. • Report mechanical issues, accidents, delays, or other concerns immediately. • Drive safely and responsibly at all times. Customer Service & Communication • Provide professional, courteous, and friendly service to clients. • Confirm pet identity and service details during pickup and drop-off. • Communicate delays, concerns, or special instructions to the operations team. • Respond to client inquiries politely and professionally. • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when representing the company. Operational Compliance • Follow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions. • Comply with UAE traffic laws and company safety policies. • Maintain accurate trip logs and service confirmations. • Follow all company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with clients. Qualifications & Requirements • Valid UAE manual driving license with a clean driving record. • Previous professional driving experience is required. • Previous animal/pet handling experience is preferred. • Comfortable handling pets of different sizes and temperaments. • Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage. • Able to use smartphone applications for navigation, routing, and work updates. • Physically capable of lifting transport crates and safely handling animals. • Willing to live in or relocate to the DIP area. • Available to join immediately or on short notice.
